PHP Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a PHP Developer with strong Laravel experience to join our technology team. You will work on developing and maintaining robust, scalable, high-performance web applications, directly contributing to the evolution of our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework;
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrations with external services;
• Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL);
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code following best practices (SOLID, PSR);
• Implement automated tests (unit and integration);
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban);
• Collaborate with Front-end, DevOps, and Product teams to define technical solutions;
• Identify and propose continuous improvements in performance, security, and architecture.

Required Qualifications

• Solid experience with PHP 8+ and Laravel (versions 9, 10, or 11);
• Knowledge of Eloquent ORM, migrations, seeders, and queues;
• Experience with REST APIs and authentication (JWT, OAuth, Sanctum/Passport);
• Strong command of Git and versioning workflows (Git Flow);
• Knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL;
• Familiarity with Composer and dependency management;
• Good understanding of web application security best practices.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments;
• Knowledge of Redis, queues, and caching;
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins);
• Knowledge of Vue.js, React, or Livewire;
• Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest);
• Technical English for reading documentation.
