Job Description
About QuickMoca
QuickMoca is an AI‑powered career platform that helps professionals build personalized resumes and connects companies to qualified candidates through intelligent matching. We’re eliminating the “black hole” of job applications – making every interaction clear, rewarding, and human‑centred.
We are a remote‑first team with a strong product culture. We believe that good design is not just about how something looks, but how it makes people feel – a philosophy we share with you.
The Role
Location: Remote – Canada (Ontario preferred)
Type: Full‑time
Reports to: Head of Product
Team: Product, Engineering, AI, Marketing
We are looking for a Product Designer (UI/UX) with experience in SaaS, AI products, and data dashboards. You will own end‑to‑end design for our candidate portal, recruiter platform, and public job board – turning complex, messy problems into clean, effortless interfaces.
You’ll work closely with our AI development team to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly, ensuring a user‑friendly and intuitive experience. You’ll also partner with marketing to create compelling visual assets that drive adoption.
What You’ll Do
End‑to‑End Product Design
Lead design from user research and wireframes to high‑fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes (Figma, Adobe XD, Framer).
Improve information architecture, user flows, and visual hierarchy for data dashboards and AI‑powered features.
Design responsive web interfaces and mobile applications that enhance engagement.
AI & SaaS Integration
Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate matching algorithms, score explanations, and recommendation features in a way that feels intuitive and human.
Iterate based on user feedback and usability testing to enhance functionality and usability.
User Research & Validation
Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights and inform design decisions.
Translate user needs and business goals into functional, minimalist design solutions.
Design Systems & Visual Assets
Maintain and evolve QuickMoca’s design system, ensuring consistency across all surfaces.
Create low‑fidelity wireframes, icons, and interactive prototypes.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials, case studies, and landing pages.
Cross‑functional Collaboration
Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.
Participate in agile ceremonies and design critiques.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
4+ years of UI/UX or product design experience, preferably with SaaS, AI tools, or data‑heavy products.
A portfolio that includes end‑to‑end projects: research → wireframes → prototypes → high‑fidelity UI (bonus if it includes an app that won an award or drove measurable impact).
Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, and Framer (or similar).
Solid understanding of UX research methods (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
Ability to create low‑fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high‑fidelity screens.
Excellent visual design sensibility with a systems‑thinking mindset.
Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (to communicate with developers) is a plus.
Mindset
You believe good design is about how it makes people feel.
You are comfortable working on complex, ambiguous problems and bringing clarity.
You enjoy collaborating with AI engineers and marketing teams – not just other designers.
Nice to Have
Experience with vibe coding or early‑stage prototyping tools.
Knowledge of Google UX Design certification (we see you have it – great!).
Familiarity with content strategy and brand asset creation.
